A dashboard built around what's blocking you
This week — a dashboard rebuilt around what's actually blocking progress, email that sends as your studio, a redesigned share page with in-browser video and timestamped comments, live calendar feeds, and Studioscope on your phone.
Five changes this week, all pointed at the same thing: getting a straight answer to "what's actually going on right now" — on the dashboard, in your client's inbox, on a shared review link, on your calendar, and on your phone.
Dashboard shows what's blocking you
The dashboard — for studio staff and clients alike — has been rebuilt around a queue of what's actually blocking progress, rather than a general activity feed. It separates what needs your attention right now from what's waiting on the other side, so opening Studioscope answers "what do I need to do today" instead of making you go looking for it. Dialogs, toolbars, and confirmation prompts across the app were tightened up in the same pass — less clutter, fewer clicks to get to the thing you're trying to do.
Send client email from your own domain
Studios with a verified sending domain can now send client email under their own studio name, and set a reply-to address so replies land in their inbox instead of ours. On Pro and Studio plans, notification emails are fully branded as the studio's own—no Studioscope name, no Studioscope links. So an invite or review request reads as coming from you. The sending-domain card in Settings now shows a clear status badge, and there's guidance on setting up DMARC so delivery stays reliable once you're sending from your own domain.
Share links with in-browser video and clearer guest actions
The public share page — the one your clients and their collaborators actually open — has been redesigned around what a guest can genuinely act on. No more fake "awaiting your review" status on a link, and no more version picker with nothing in it to pick. It's now clear at a glance whether comments and downloads are allowed and when the link expires.
Alongside the redesign, video on those links now plays right in the browser instead of only offering a download, and guests can leave comments pinned to an exact moment in the video — no more "at around 0:43" typed into a message.
Subscribe to project schedules in your calendar
A project's schedule — milestones, tasks, shoot days — can now be subscribed to as a live calendar feed in Google, Apple, or Outlook Calendar. Subscribe once and it stays up to date automatically as things move, instead of exporting a one-time snapshot that's stale the moment a date changes. Feed links live in Schedule settings and can be viewed again later without resetting them.
Works on your phone
Studioscope is now genuinely usable on a phone. Pages no longer scroll sideways, tables and boards reflow into a layout that actually fits a smaller screen, and dialogs no longer zoom in on you or run off the edge. If you've been checking on a project from your phone between shoots, it should just work now.
Also this week
You can rename and delete folders in the Files tab now — including everything inside them — not just create them. Plus a batch of smaller fixes: dead ends in the client scope-review flow, invites that silently failed for accounts with differently-cased emails, popups that ran off-screen on shorter windows, a stuck sending-domain verification check, and Safari opening downloads instead of saving them.
