Quickly setup a schedule, roles & permissions for your team

This week — a rebuilt Schedule tab with ready-made blueprints and a client-visible timeline, and real permission boundaries for hired teammates on a project.

By Boyan Georgiev

Two changes this week, both about who sees what and how much setup it takes to get there.

A schedule you can actually setup up in a minute

The Schedule tab has been rebuilt around how studios actually plan a job. You no longer need to build a milestone before you can add a task — quick-add drops a task straight onto the board, and you can assign it to someone with a time estimate attached.

For the parts that are the same on every job, apply a ready-made blueprint — photo shoot, video production, and a few others — and it lays out the milestones and tasks with real dates, anchored to your shoot day or delivery deadline. It's the pipeline every studio already runs, without rebuilding it by hand each time.

The schedule is also client-visible now. A client sees the milestones and tasks that are relevant to them on their own project, instead of an empty tab — a plain answer to "where are we at" without a status-update message.

Real permission boundaries for hired teammates

If your studio brings on freelancers or hired creators project by project, they can now be scoped to just the work they're on. A team member sees only the projects they're assigned to, not the whole studio — no more browsing every client's job because that was the only option. You can preview-as-member to see exactly what they'll see. This one was a the most requested feature from users and the first question new signups asked for–thanks for the feedback! Go to the settings page>Roles and Permissions and check "Preview as member" to see the studio exactly as a hired teammate or client sees.

Budgets, invoices, and scope documents are part of the same change: those now stay between the studio founder and the client. A teammate can still see and act on the deliverables they're working on — approving their own work isn't affected — but pricing and revenue for the studio as a whole aren't part of their view.

Also fixed

A run of smaller reliability fixes landed too — spots where a dropped connection could leave a signature, a password setup, or a login stuck instead of completing, plus a storage limit display that showed the wrong number on free-plan projects. Full list on the changelog.
